Since 1991, Africa Hunting Safaris, Inc. has been dedicated to placing hunters with only the best hunting operations in Africa.  Africa Hunting Safaris is a a full-time booking agency for gun and bowhunting.  Ron Oliver, Director of Africa Hunting Safaris, Inc. lived in Africa for more than15 years and is dedicated hunter himnself. 

Ron's continual travel throughout the region each year and his personal knowledge of the safari industry as well as the political and security allows him a special insight to the hunting community in each country.

While assigned to the AMERICAN EMBASSY in Harare for six years, Ron was instrumental in assisting National Parks with the legalization of bowhunting in Zimbabwe.  To introduce the U.S. bowhunting community to Zimbabwe, Ron arranged hunts for such well known hunters as Chuck Adams, Pete Shepley and Gary Bogner.  Ron served as the first chairman of the Bowhunters Association of Zimbabwe, a position he held for two years.  He continues to work with the National Parks of Zimbabwe for the promotion of bowhunting.  Ron's personal knowledge of the safari community in Africa allows him a special insight to the very best hunting operations on the continent.  To insure the continued quality of each operation, Ron returns each year during the hunting season and visits the operations that he exclusively books for.
